Christian Hutter is a Principal in the technology consulting practice of RSM US LLP and national leader for the Microsoft practice. He enables a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver value to clients by assisting with cloud solutions to boost their ability to execute. With more than 20 years in the Microsoft Dynamics space, Christian joined RSM in 2015 through a predecessor firm where he had worked since 2005.
Christian is responsible for overall practice strategy, including client experience, industry, talent development, growth, and culture for his practice areas. He is focused on providing his team a framework to enable success. He has deep experience in scaling businesses and supporting developing leaders within a practice. His focus has always been on building enduring, trusted relationships with clients to help transform their businesses and spur new opportunities for growth.
Prior to joining RSM, Christian served a national technology consulting firm that was acquired by RSM in 2015. He brings more than 20 years of experience and knowledge in the area of end-to-end solutions for vertical markets. He started his industry focus by building and scaling technology services in the food and beverage industry, and was responsible for hiring, training and developing methodologies that are still used in the practice today. Today, the practice enables seven industries with the same deep capabilities.
Within the firm, he is involved in several leadership committees, including the innovation steering committee council, as well as advising the firm and clients on emerging technologies and market trends as a thought leader. He has put together a workforce of the future task force to better understand how remote work and digital innovations can enable family friendly work policies.
Originally from Austria, Christian was an Olympic hopeful for the Austrian national ski team. He came to the United State as part of the Division One ski team at the University of Denver and went on to coach the team to two national championship titles. While he is proud of his accomplishments as an individual skier, he gets more satisfaction from building a winning team that became the best in the United States.
He is involved with an effort that grew out of RSM’s Pursue Your Passion program to assist an impoverished Kenyan orphanage gain access to clean water, solar power and educational opportunities.
